1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting a registration, or participating in any Yoga Seva Sangh session, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not register or participate.

2. About Yoga Seva Sangh

Yoga Seva Sangh is a registered non-profit organization founded by Vaishali Prabhu. All yoga and wellness sessions are offered completely free of charge to the community. Sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom. We are not a gym, healthcare facility, or commercial fitness business.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 15 years of age to register independently.
• Participants between the ages of 15 and 17 must have parental or guardian acknowledgment of their participation and these terms.
• Registration is subject to review and approval by Yoga Seva Sangh administrators. Approval is not guaranteed.

4. Physical Activity & Health Acknowledgment

Yoga and physical exercise involve inherent risks, including the possibility of physical injury. By participating in Yoga Seva Sangh sessions, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You have either consulted a qualified healthcare provider regarding your fitness to participate in yoga, or you accept full responsibility for any decision to participate without doing so.
• You agree to listen to your body, use instructor-offered modifications, and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
• Any health conditions or injuries you disclose are shared voluntarily to help instructors suggest appropriate modifications. Our instructors are not licensed medical or healthcare professionals.
• Nothing communicated during sessions or on this website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

5. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by registering and participating in Yoga Seva Sangh sessions, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Yoga Seva Sangh, its founder, instructors, volunteers, officers, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, or liability of any kind, including claims arising from personal injury, illness, property damage, or death, arising out of or related to your participation in virtual yoga sessions, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

Virtual session risks: You acknowledge that participating in virtual sessions presents unique risks distinct from in-person classes, including but not limited to practicing in an unmonitored home environment without supervision, technical interruptions to the session, limited visibility of your practice by the instructor, and the inability of instructors to provide direct physical assistance or adjustment.

Non-profit context: Yoga Seva Sangh provides these sessions as a free public service. No fee is charged for participation. The organization does not carry commercial liability insurance covering participant injuries sustained during virtual sessions.

6. Registration & Account

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
• Your account and session access credentials are personal and non-transferable. You may not share your login or Zoom session links with others.
• Zoom links provided upon approval are for registered participants only. Publicly sharing session links is strictly prohibited.
• Yoga Seva Sangh reserves the right to revoke access to any participant who misuses their account, shares session links publicly, or violates these terms.

7. Photo & Video Terms

If you granted photo/video consent at registration, photographs or videos captured during virtual sessions may be used for promotional or community purposes as described in our Privacy Policy. If you did not grant consent, we will not intentionally use any media capturing you. However, in a group virtual session, we cannot fully guarantee that your presence will not appear incidentally in the background of content featuring other participants.

8. Donations

• All donations to Yoga Seva Sangh are voluntary and non-refundable.
• No goods or services are provided in exchange for any donation.
• Yoga Seva Sangh is a non-profit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible. Please consult a tax professional regarding your specific situation.
• Donations via Zelle are processed entirely through your own bank. Yoga Seva Sangh does not handle, process, or store any payment credentials associated with Zelle transfers.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on yogasevasangh.org — including text, images, logos, graphics, and any recorded session materials shared with members — is the property of Yoga Seva Sangh and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Recorded sessions provided to members are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, or publicly share any such content without our prior written consent.

10. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to engage with respect and kindness in virtual sessions and any community communications. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the program:

• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind.
• Hate speech or discriminatory language or behavior.
• Intentional disruption of sessions.
• Any conduct that violates applicable law.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website and all sessions are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Yoga Seva Sangh does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website or to virtual sessions, and is not responsible for technical issues, internet outages, or interruptions to Zoom service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yoga Seva Sangh's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms, this website, or participation in any session shall not exceed zero dollars ($0.00), reflecting the fact that no fee was paid for participation, or the minimum amount required by applicable law if greater.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Jersey.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued registration or participation after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
